THE FOUR-WHEEL BRAKE SYSTEM.

There are four points in the Daimler brake system that give it an undeniable supremacy. There is the auxiliary power mechanism by means of which the brake is applied with a minimum of physical effort; there is the patented compensator by means of which all four brakes are applied with equal force; there is the single handle, accessible under the bonnet, by means of which all four brakes are adjusted simultaneously, and there is the special design of hub by means of which the brakes themselves are enclosed within the plane of the wheel. This last-mentioned future causes the Daimler brakes to be by far the nearest in appearance the others make them the safest to use.
